Bonne Arrivee!

Welcome to my virtual home! I've built this website primarily as a way to share my experiences with my friends and family while I am volunteering with the Peace Corps in Burkina Faso. My original commitment with the Peace Corps was for two years, but I love teaching and living here so much that I've decided to extend my service for another year. I'll be spending my third year as a PCV continuing to serve as a middle school math teacher in the small village I am happy to call home. I hope my blog will give you a glimpse into my life as a volunteer and teach you a little bit about a country you had probably never heard of. (Don't worry, I had never heard of it either.) I'll try to be informative, witty, and amusing but not overly verbose or self-incriminating.
